Patrick Eaves
After a couple of skydiving lessons in 1994, Patrick was introduced to the world of sky sports. He began learning about paragliding from friends, and started pursuing paraglider training in 1997. Later, Patrick earned his tandem and advanced instructor ratings with USHPA.
Patrick went on to manage and instruct at local legend Kinsley Thomas-Wong's school, XtremeBigAir.
He also opened his own school WingEnvy Paragliding.
In 2004 Patrick traveled with the WingEnvy paragliding team to Peru, Nepal, Thailand, and New Zealand. The team documented the trip and produced a DVD "OneSky" that was sold around the world.
Patrick has been paragliding on the Central Coast for over 20 years. He has been active in the local flying club, and has served as the club president in the past. He has an intimate knowledge of local flying sites and conditions.
Patrick also finished his skydiving training, earning his skydiving tandem instructor rating. He was the lead instructor at Skydive Pismo Beach for several years.
He and his wife, Mariah are natives to San Luis Obispo County. You may recognize Patrick and Mariah as the founders of SLO's first and only escape room, The Locked Inn. Though they have moved on from that venture, happily handing it over to another great couple, they continue to develop new forms of entertainment through their company Eaves Entertainment.
